Cunard Steamship Company letterhead

Dear Ma,

Have arrived at destination OK. Mil knows I were sea sick. Understand I can write much that they don't let out so will add that arrived in England.

Don't believe any rumors that you might read or hear as there is a person in the armory who has the address of everyone and who will notify everybody at once. This regiment notifies him if Mil's or my letters are delayed from time to time and you get anxious
[illegible line]
and they will know what is doing.

Will visit Aunt Erma if we can get off.

Will write once a week until we see service and then every few days. With love
Bootus
