Dear Nug,
Rec'd your letter dated Oct 25. The address was wrong on it. You have to address it exactly as above or only luck will get it through. Don't address to Mil and I at the same time as we won't get it if we are separated. . .
Am sending you a small Xmas token, home, which Mil & I hope reaches you. Its a pearl cigarette case and pretty valuable. It's not so much on smoking but it makes a good souvenir of France and it may be the best I'll ever send. Mil and I are sending it together. Am sending it home as I expect you'll be home Xmas.
Learn your military book Nug and come over here on top of the heap. AVIATION IS GOOD.
